About Marcia
This is state Rep. Marcia Hahn’s fourth full term in office, having first been elected to serve the residents of the 138th Legislative District in a May, 2010 special election. For the 2017-18 session, Marcia is a member of the following four committees: Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Appropriations, Children and Youth and Tourism and Recreational Development. In addition, she has been re-appointed to the position of majority deputy whip, and will also serve as a deputy chairman on the House Republican Policy Committee.

A strong advocate for the Lehigh Valley agriculture community, Marcia is the author of House Bill 1439/Act 114 of 2013. This legislation promotes innovation and saves money for farmers by exempting from assessment their use of portable high tunnel buildings.

A graduate of Nazareth Area High School, Marcia is proud to call the Borough of Bath home. She is a mother of two children, as well as a devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren. No stranger to the district or public service, Marcia has dedicated herself to the residents of Northampton County since 1984.

Marcia formerly served on the board of directors of the Nazareth Chamber of Commerce and Pen Argyl Families First. Understanding how difficult the economic environment is on our families and seniors, Marcia’s goals in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives include cutting excessive spending, lowering taxes, and reducing the size of government.

The 138th District consists of the townships of Bethlehem (Wards 01 and 04, as well as Division 04 of Ward 03), Bushkill, East Allen, Hanover, Lower Nazareth, Moore the Eastern and Pt. Phillips districts) and Plainfield and the boroughs of Bath, Chapman, Pen Argyl and Wind Gap.
